TU Students Committed to Serve

Thomas University held a swearing-in ceremony for 14 members of TU’s Military Transition football team into the Georgia National Guard during Homecoming on November 4.  

Col. Jason Fryman, Chief of Staff of the Georgia Army National Guard, conducted their oath of enlistment.

The mission of the National Guard is to respond to domestic emergencies, overseas combat missions, counterdrug efforts, reconstruction missions, and more when called upon by the Governor or the President.
